I’ve Got One!! – Test Results

In the last post (I’ve Got One!!), you were excited that you had discovered your dream and you were going to test it to ensure it came from God. So, how did it go?

If it did not pass the test, that’s okay. It’s better to know right away than to waste time and energy pursuing something that God had not intended you to. I encourage you to continue following the key points in the Don’t Forget post.  In time, God will reveal your dream/purpose that you are uniquely made for.

If it did pass the test, then Congratulations! I am very happy for you! Although, by now I believe that the enormity of your dream has sunken in and you are starting to feel doubtful, anxious, fearful, panicked, and/or overwhelmed.

What you are feeling is not a surprise. Satan doesn’t want this to happen! He wants to stop you as soon as possible, by attacking your mind, will, and emotions with negative feelings so that your dream does not take root. This situation is illustrated in the Parable of the Farmer Scattering Seed, in Mark 4 (TPT): Consider this: A farmer went out to sow seeds. As he cast his seeds some of it fell along the beaten path and soon the birds came and ate it. 14 Let me explain: The farmer sows the Word as seed, 15 and what falls on the beaten path represents those who hear the Word, but immediately Satan appears and snatches it from their hearts.”

I’m sure you’re wondering how to prevent Satan from taking your dream. We will be talking more about this in detail in the upcoming posts. Right now, I want to share the three keys that my Pastor (Richard West) stated is the formula for fulfilling your dream:

  1. Hear
  2. Trust
  3. Obey

You’ve heard from God regarding your dream, so continue to pray about it and listen to Him. Trust God’s word and what He tells you.  Obey what He says.

I hope this simple quote from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh encourages you, “You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” With God, you’ve can do it! He’s taking care of you and your dream.

My prayer for you is, “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you, from Deuteronomy 31:8 (NLT).

Thank you for your time. Be Blessed… LR Maddox

  1. Great encouragement and reminder. Thank God he takes care of us. I’ve recently been encouraging Cole with “you’re stronger than you think”, but I really like Winnie the Pooh quote.

  2. I love this post! I believe many do fear of the result before they even take the leap of faith and try to take the test. I whole heartedly relate to this in many ways. But I love the reminder that god has a plan for us and we are stronger than what we believe. Keep up the good work!
