The time has come! God has you working on building your dream, but you’ve become distracted, and are not spending any time on it. Or there are roadblocks, and you cannot move forward. Maybe a setback has occurred, and you have to begin again and possibly do it a different way.
What is happening to my dream??
Pastor Jentezen Franklin once said, “You may be experiencing miraculous things in your life; seeing God bless you and move in mighty ways. But I want to warn you, many times that is exactly when the storms come. It’s the enemy’s job to get your eyes off of Jesus and distract you to stop you from doing what God has called you to do.”
I found an interesting quote, “The reason most people give up so fast is that they look at how far they still have to go, instead of how far they have come.” (Anonymous)
So what are you looking at? We need to do what Hebrews 12:2a (NIV) suggests, “Keep your eyes on Jesus, our leader and instructor…”
Recently Bishop TD Jakes stated, “I’ve seen some of the most amazingly naturally gifted people give up on their dreams because life hit them in the mouth and they didn’t know how to fight for it. Satan is not going to sit back and watch you be amazing. There is a burden that comes with your blessings, but God will always provide the strength, favor, and grace to sustain you. So don’t worry about what it costs, because in the end he’s got you covered.”
How should we fight? Put on the full armor of God. And be sure to use the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17). Look up scriptures that have the promises of God, study them, and speak/pray them over your situation. Let me start you off with this one, Isaiah 41:10 (NLT), “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
May the words of Thomas Fuller encourage you, “An invincible determination can accomplish almost anything and in this lies the great distinction between great men and little men.”
Don’t give up!! Keep your eyes on Jesus, and fight for your dream!

As you know it’s been a very tough few weeks, the devil has been attacking me on many fronts. I have been discouraged, but your encouraging words of faith has help me to stay foucus on God.

I needed this today! Growing older us one of those challenges that will “slap you in the mouth.” Yet, I have work to do! I would add, as God told Joshua, “Be strong and of good courage.”

When I’m attacked and hit blind side, I train myself to listen to Christian music to set my attitude back on course for God’s glory, read His Holy Word and align my mindset to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Thank you for being a Compass to reinforce the reality of our faith walk♥️
