When it seems as though your life has turned crazy and issues & challenges have you clutching your head and you wonder, “WHAT is going on??”
This was something our Lifegroup talked about this week because it’s been happening to us. It’s real life. You’re trying to do what God has asked you, or you’re trying to inspire others, or you just decided to follow Jesus, and now stuff is happening. You find that all your time and attention is spent focusing on the problems.
So, I’m watching an episode of Joyce Meyer, and she’s talking about the same thing! What?? This was not a coincidence, it had a purpose. I wanted to get a post out to help others.
Here is a one minute (1:17) clip of what Joyce said that caught my attention: https://youtu.be/gQNdBnfFgOY. If you wish to view the full episode (28:31), it’s at https://youtu.be/j0adYGQQFxc (Don’t Be Offended by the Truth – Part 1).
Troubles will come into our life. It’s not a question of “if” but when. I wrote a blog post a few months ago called, “When, not if…” on the topic of enduring problems which I hope will enlighten you.
As I wrap-up this impromptu post, I pray this scripture in John 16:33 will encourage you:
I’ve told you this so that my peace will be with you. In the world you’ll have trouble. But cheer up! I have overcome the world.
Thank you for your time. Be Blessed… LR Maddox
