Recently I heard on a morning news show, “Division is the narrative in our country, so let’s turn it around.”

Afterward, I realized I had been given the answer to my prayer regarding what the blog theme for 2019 should be.  It is unity.  In the Merriam-Webster dictionary, its definitions are:
1) The quality or state of not being multiple: Oneness 
2) A condition of harmony: Accord

What better way to defeat division than to be on one accord?!

My prayer for you, your family, our communities, our nation, and the world, is found in Romans 15:5 TLB, “May God who gives patience, steadiness, and encouragement help you to live in complete harmony with each other—each with the attitude of Christ toward the other.”
