“Never let a bad situation bring out the worst in you. Be strong and choose to be positive.” – Anonymous
So much is happening these days that are impacting us. Whether it is reopening our nation, economic concerns, or limited meat supply, and so on. For some, things are not advancing quickly enough. It can seem so overwhelming!
Unfortunately, we have seen people react out of fear, despair, anger, and defiance. In life, we will face moments of worry, doubts, concern, or anxiety, BUT we need God to help us fight through it so we can react positively.
What should we do? “Above everything else, guard your heart. Everything you do comes from it.” – Proverbs 4:23 NIRV
How do we do it? “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7 NLT
“And… one more thing: Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely, and dwell on the fine, good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about.” – Philippians 4:8 TLB
As we continue to face the challenges and impacts from the coronavirus on our lives, choose to respond godly.
My prayer for us is found in John 14:27 TPT; “…Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!”

Times like these bring out either the best or the worst in us if we let it. Every day is another opportunity to fight the good fight or fight fair. I choose to trust that He goes before me and makes the way as I humbly undeservingly follow.
