“Where there is love, there is joy.” ― Mother Teresa

Simple yet so eloquently stated are the words of Mother Teresa. Joy and love exist because we get them from God.

Just by believing in Christ and loving Him, we can receive joy. 1 Peter 1:8 (ICB) states, “You have not seen Christ, but still you love him. You cannot see him now, but you believe in him. You are filled with a joy that cannot be explained….”  

“True joy happens in the heart of a Christian because it springs from knowing that God loves me and wants what is best for me.” ― Dannah Gresh

Joy closely follows love. As we grow in Christ, it becomes part of our character. We see this in Galatians 5:22 (NLT), “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness….”

“God is the Source of real love, joy, peace, wisdom, and everything else we all need to be the people He has created us to be.” ― Joyce Meyer

No matter what happens during our day, let us continue to believe & love our Lord. Take the time to tell Him and receive an unexplainable joy.
