The resilience of our Nation, while addressing the pandemic, has been something to behold and not easily forgotten.
Men and women’s dedication by supporting each other from various occupations and backgrounds, while not one was less essential than another.
The sacrifice of workers, neighbor helping neighbor, the importance of family and loved ones, showed unity, hope, and love amongst us.
The fabric that our Nation was built on, which is God’s love, has been on full display for all to see.
Sadly, our hearts weep for the families who lost loved ones to the coronavirus. We pray that God’s love brings you comfort and fills you with peace.
As we celebrate the 4th of July, let us do it with thankfulness and appreciate the words from that famous song written so long ago.
“God Bless America” by Irving Berlin
[Verse:]
While the storm clouds gather far across the sea
Let us swear allegiance to a land that’s free,
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer.
[Refrain:]
God bless America
Land that I love,
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with a light from above.
From the mountains to the prairies
To the oceans white with foam,
God bless America, my home sweet home
God bless America, my home sweet home!
My prayer for our Nation is found in 1 Timothy 2:1-3 (NOG), “First of all, I encourage you to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and prayers of thanks for all people, for rulers, and for everyone who has authority over us. Pray for these people so that we can have a quiet and peaceful life always lived in a godly and reverent way. This is good and pleases God our Savior.”

God has always blessed America because with all our faults we are a God-fearing country.
We can’t let the outside noise take us from God’s plan for our lives.
Even in the pandemic virus time.
Very good & timely word.
